Wanted: Successful Expediters Who Like to Write

Writing is a great pastime on the road. Successful expediters are invited to publish here at SuccessfulExpediters.com; where family, friends, fellow expediters, expediter wannabees, carrier personnel and others can read what you have to say.

What Makes SuccessfulExpediters.com Different?

1. SuccessfulExpediters.com is a non-commercial, carrier-neutral site. We do not have sponsors. We do not sell advertising space on our pages. Successful expediters affiliated with all expediting carriers are welcome, as are own-authority expediters and non-drivers who work in the expediting industry (dispatchers, recruiters, fleet owners, etc.). Ideally, bloggers will come on board that represent all expediting truck types (B, C, D and E-units), driving styles (team and solo, owner-operator and fleet driver) and all major carriers.

2. SuccessfulExpediters.com is a place where successful expediters can associate and interact with other successful expediters. Our pages do not include content from people who have failed as expediters or are in the process of doing so. We are about success, as defined on our home page.

3. SuccessfulExpediters.com is about quality, not quantity. There are numerous online venues where misinformation is passed and insults are hurled to no good end. SuccessfulExpediters.com is no such site. Thoughtful people who respect other points of view are welcome, as are folks that wish to share their day-to-day experiences or write expediting-related pieces for the fun of it. People who wish to drag other people down need not apply. This is not a place for people who have something to prove. It is a place for people who have something to give.

4. SuccessfulExpediters.com is both a static and dynamic web site. While static (non-changing) pages are provided to bloggers for biographies, photo galleries, essays, articles, and such; the action is in the blogs. Blog posts are like letters to home for family and friends, or like magazine articles for a broader group. For people researching the industry, the blogs provide first-hand information from successful expediters; showing how they live, work, think and feel on the road. The site includes a search engine for user convenience. (Note: the search engine is a planned feature, now in the works.)

5. SuccessfulExpediters.com is not a message board or interactive forum where members must rely on moderators to maintain certain standards or fight off personal attacks in unmoderated arenas. At SuccessfulExpediters.com, bloggers post under their real names, not screen names. They have total control over their posts and responses to them. Bloggers can prohibit reader comments or permit them. Comments can be allowed from anyone or restricted to registered users, depending on the blogger's preference.  When a reader comment is made, a blogger can respond, let the comment stand unanswered or delete the comment if it is deemed inappropriate. A blogger can even add one or more authors to his or her blog so, for example, a husband and wife can post in the same blog under their respective names.

6. SuccessfulExpediters.com replaces the anonymity and unaccountability of traditional online venues with identity and accountability that today's blogware makes possible. With successful expediters posting under their own names, bloggers and readers can rise above the gutter-level pot shots that are common in other online venues. We may not get as much traffic that free-for-all forums may enjoy, but frankly, much of that traffic is not wanted here. We believe people will find SuccessfulExpediters.com to be a more civil and respectful arena, and will appreciate the difference.
