July 1-7, 2008. Donna is doing well on the road; the east coast is always a good region for single drivers. We talk several times a day, but it’s not the same as being together.
I managed to clean and oil all my guns, which took several days. I have eighteen rifles and two handguns, so it was a time consuming task, but one I enjoyed doing.
I went to the cardiologist today. He gave me the once over and cleared me to go back on the road. Blog Author Top of Page Bottom of Page
July 8-31, 2008. Donna worked her way home and picked me up. We are back on the road as a team again, which is a good thing.
We are doing well, despite the fuel prices, but we are not getting the big mile runs we usually get. We are getting loads averaging about 900 miles, but are getting more loads, so it offsets the shorter runs. We have also noticed that we are not going west of the Mississippi very much.
